Its been a longstanding dream of mine to encourage petz play through a variety of interactive shows and titles. The creative members of Dukes Group inspired me to think outside the box as to what a show or trial could be!

I want to thank and credit Amy and the Dukes Group family for all their brilliant ideas over the years – many of which are incorporated into the events you will see here!

Each month I will host a series of shows and trials encouraging active play with your petz. Certifications come with a title and a certificate. Trials come with prizes, bragging rights, and awards!

This month's event is Field Trials!

Sport specific instructions and records will be listed on their individual pages.

* Turn off camera reactions prior to trial.
* Trials are run on the honor system. Game speed should be set to 50 unless your system requires a shift to match what 50 should be. This is an honor system. Please be honest about time/count and do not combine multiple attempts into one trial entry.
* Screen2Gif is a great tool for trials. You can split the gif into parts if needed to reduce file size. You can also extract frames to use as photos of the trial if you prefer entering a photo collage.
* All petz of all ages may participate, however, not all petz are suited to every sport just like in real life. If they are unable to complete the tasks, you may need to wait for another event.
* All petz may compete in trials, even if fully titled
* Backgrounds and clothes are permitted and encouraged unless otherwise specified
* Editing is allowed as long as it does not misrepresent completion. Editing could include making the pet more lifelike, editing scenes to match the theme of the event, adding clothes, adding other props as long as the task props are still visible ie dont override the task prop with a fake one.
* Entries are accepted via email, forms, and Discord DM. Shows will also be hosted on DG and PFA from time to time and these entries will be combined with the currently open shows.
* Limited handling by me is available (2 petz/month/person). Others may offer handling services with no limits.
* Certifications are always open
* You may submit entries for trials at the same time you submit entries for certifications, but they will be judged in order, and corrections must be made for subsequent entries to be considered. For example, if you submit entries for three titles and an entry for the active trial, but your 1st certification image does not pass, you will need to submit a corrected image before the other entries are considered.
* Trials run on a rotating monthly schedule. 3 shows per month will run if there are at least 5 entries in each trial. If entries in each trial exceed 10, I will open more shows. Petz will be distributed into shows via random number generator.
* Trials close on the 28th of each month and awards distributed within 30 days.

Certifications are titles your petz can earn by completing task sets.

Trials are active competitions based on skill.

Timed trials measure speed. Counted trials measure success rate. Some combine both.
